SiteGround Web Hosting

I wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to my hosting company.

I have been with Siteground for over 1 year now and I have been absolutely thrilled with their service. As many of you website owners may know, dealing with the hosting company is not something you look forward to. That, however, has not been the case when having to post a ticket or a chat with Siteground.

For Example:

A few weeks ago I was uploading a site through FTP and for some reason, I kept getting an error when I would pull up the web browser to try and load the site. Before I dug myself into a hole that would be painful to get out of. I decided to reach out to one of Siteground’s agents through the chat system. I posted my issue and literally within 5 minutes the website was up and running without any issues. Not only did the agent do a stellar job of getting to the bottom of the issue, they let me know exactly what the issue was and gave me detailed instructions on how to prevent this from happening again. 

This is just one of 7-8 times I have used the chat system through Siteground. This is also only 1 of many reasons I will continue to use SiteGround as my hosting company.

If you were to run a page speed test on your site, how do you think it would score? I have 12 sites that I manage currently, all hosted with Siteground. Each of these sites will load within 1 second, which the average site load time is about 5-10 seconds depending on the amount of content. I attribute this success partially to the awesome SG Optimize plugin that is provided to members. It works awesome for caching, setting the PHP level and forcing HTTPS. You can also flush the cache through your website, in case you make changes to a live site (which I don’t recommend, but that is another topic altogether).
